WWW-Finger Gateway with Faces

The WWW to Finger Gateway

with support for faces

To use the gateway, simply enter as a keyword an address of the form user@hostname. The gateway can also be used non-interactively by anchoring to a URL of the form: http://www.bsdi.com/finger/hostname/username

This gateway was written by Marc VanHeyningen. The faces support was possible due to the faces distribution maintainer, Steve Kinzler. This finger gateway is maintained by Tony Sanders.

Bug: Addresses in Australia end with .au, and thus NCSA Mosaic will attempt to treat them as audio files. I'm told an extra dot after the au will fix this for now.

Bug: I don't have all the faces. Try the cs.indiana.edu finger server.
